As a photographer on Captiva Island I am so lucky to meet families on the beach. It’s definitely a nice perk of my job. While I have photographed weddings, newborns and family sessions inland; my favorites are always at the beach. Who wouldn’t want to spend time soaking in the sun, barefoot, hearing the waves against the shore?

I love capturing the moments shared with grandparents and their little grand babies. It’s so fun seeing the love they have for them. I met this family on the beach at sunset and the little one was full of smiles ready to go. Many times it’s the first time they have felt sand beneath their feet or seen the waves rolling in. So many sweet memories captured.

As a local, born and raised in Ft Myers, I know all the best kept secrets. Fun things to do with you little ones, the best restaurants to dine at and the best beaches. Often the beach you are staying at may be full of other beach goers, especially at sunset. I have a list of suggestions that will offer you the best images.
